The Career Advancement Mentoring Program for Young Entrepreneurs and Scholars (CAMP-YES) program prepares academically talented STEM students to transition to the workforce or graduate school. CAMP-YES will provide a scholarship for years 1 and 2 of the mentorship experience at the level of up to $5,000 for the year (Fall/Spring, 30 weeks, 10-15 hours per week). The program includes an Entrepreneurship Path that offers students the following benefits and opportunities:

  • Learn about employment opportunities associated with contracting, founding startup ventures, and formulating new ventures in corporate settings
  • Become engaged in UCF's student startup community
  • Seek advice from experienced startup coaches
  • Enjoy plentiful workshops, meetups, pitching events, and other opportunities to learn about and practice entrepreneurial leadership skills that will enhance the value of your disciplinary expertise
  • Build your professional networks by participating in CAMP-YES Socials and CAMP-YES Symposiums
  • Utilize academic advising, GRE preparation, and workshops for graduate school preparation and graduate fellowships
