Startup Research

We are excited to introduce a new startup research initiative to help students conduct market research, competitor analysis, and other traditional secondary-data research tasks.  As much as we love and utilize lean startup methodologies that emphasize primary data collection (e.g., customer discovery interviews), we believe students also need to engage in rigorous secondary data collection and analysis to reduce startup risks.  Stop by the CEL’s StarterSpace in 135 BA1 or call 407-823-3683 to schedule a meeting with one of our student research fellows.

This service provides critical business intelligence to student entrepreneurs, and teaches them how to utilize the university’s extensive, expensive, and exclusive library resources to reduce uncertainty and risk associated with their startup proposals.
