Starter Series

The CEL offers recurring events as part of our Starter Series. Please check the calendar for up-to-date time, location, and registration information.

Starter Meetup

Starter Meetups are invigorating demonstrations led by a current student or recent alum who has started their own business. These local entrepreneurs will give a live demonstration of their product, discuss how they came up with their product or service idea, and share any industry tips and tricks they’ve learned along the way. In the past, we’ve had starters make beer, bake cookies, produce music, and much more. This event is the catalyst for getting immersed into the UCF startup community and connecting with others involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Starter Stories

Stop into the LaunchPad every Tuesday for a story about the entrepreneurial experience as lived through a UCF student entrepreneur. Sit back, relax, and learn from someone who’s been through the startup journey and wants to help you do the same.

Starter Sandbox

Starter Sandbox is our entrepreneurial workshop series. Each week, students can learn a new skill like blogging, marketing, product development, intellectual property, and much more. Check our events calendar to find the workshop theme for you!

Entrepreneurship Open House

Want to be your own BOSS? Join us in the Blackstone LaunchPad to meet members of our team who will highlight the many campus and community resources that can help spark your entrepreneurial mindset. Learn about our coaching program, interactive events, and cash prize winning competitions that can put you on the fast track to starting your own business.

Starter Showcase

UCF is home to tons of entrepreneurs who got started right here on campus. Stop by the Student Union atrium to meet and chat with current student entrepreneurs to learn about their products and/or services.

The EXCHANGE Entrepreneurship Series

The EXCHANGE hosts speakers representing every industry from around the world and allows students to collaborate and explore new business ventures. Speakers every Wednesday (note: priority given to business students).
