When leaders at Florida High Tech Corridor — one of the nonprofits that supports startups and innovation in the region — got to know Kelly Shea as a University of Central Florida student, they wanted her to come work for them. They didn’t have an open position that matched her skills, so, they created a position for her, and she joined the organization in October.
